# MCA SRN status: Rejected / NTBR (Not To Be Taken On Record)

**What it means.** The filing is terminally rejected. The transaction it was meant to record has no legal effect.

**What to do.** File a fresh form and pay the fee again. Claim the original fee back separately through the Refund eForm.

**Deadline.** A refund claim must be filed within 1,095 days (three years) of the original payment.

**Is the filing still alive?** No — the filing has failed and must be filed afresh.

Rejection is not resubmission. The original SRN cannot be revived.
